On the thermal instability of supercavitating liquid jet surrounded by coaxial rotary gas

چکیده
Abstract Based on the jet stability theory, under conditions of gas rotation, fluid compressibility and supercavitation, this paper gives mathematical model describing thermal instability supercavitating liquid surrounded by a coaxial rotary gas, corresponding numerical method for solving is proposed verified data in reference. Then, analyzes effects gas–liquid temperature differences gradients instability, studies jet. The results show that maximum disturbance growth rate, dominant frequency wave numbers increase linearly with differences. existence gradient inside makes more obvious. will inhibit effect supercavitation while difference promote instability.
